About the Department
Bienvenue and Bienvenido to Rhyl High School’s Modern Foreign Languages Department.
The Department’s main aim is to make learning languages fun and relevant.
We especially seek to raise pupils’ confidence in speaking and communicating with others, coupled with thinking skills and problem solving to analyse how languages are formed.
Reading & Writing skills are also focused upon in order to provide a smooth transition into the KS4 options, at a high standard.
We will also be using the Routes into Languages National Spelling Bee Competition to help raise literacy.
