Christmas Carols

Throughout December the Performing Arts Department at Rhyl High School were extremely busy spreading some Christmas cheer throughout the community.

We were very lucky to be invited back to both St David’s Residential Care Home and Bron Haul Care Home as well as visiting Richmond House for the first time, where we performed Christmas carols to the residents, got to meet new people in our communities and enjoyed a few festive treats.

We were also kindly able to visit both Morrisons and ASDA where we sang Christmas carols in the foyer and bag pack in order to raise funds for our Easter production of Legally Blonde the Musical.

Our festivities culminated with our Mince Pie concert where many of our students performed on instruments and sang to parents, teachers and friends as well as enjoying the obligatory mince pie or two.

We would like to thank everybody who helped us this festive season, but special thanks go out to St David’s, Bron Haul and Richmond House Care Homes, Morrisons Rhyl, ASDA Rhyl, the pupils who were involved in all of these visits and all parents and guardians for their continued support.

Through all of these activities we managed to raise a combined sum of over £670 which will go towards the costs of staging our musical this Easter.

We hope you can join us for our production of Legally Blonde Jr. in April 2017.
